El 23 de Abril llegará a las tiendas el 12º álbum de estudio de Snoop, basado en el reggae y dancehall. Pero antes de eso nos trae este «No Guns Allowed», un tema comprometido con el mensaje de abandono de las armas, que desde hace un tiempo lleva promulgando Barack Obama y algún otro predecesor. Para ello se une a Drake y Cori B y consigue crear un tema bastante decente, donde el contenido debe ser escuchado detenidamente.
En palabras del propio Snoop:
«It’s a powerful song and we hope to spread a positive message that hits home with people, We’ve seen too much bloodshed involving guns and we want to prevent the next incident from happening. That’s what’s it all about, trying to bring awareness and push love and peace.»
Todos sabreis que Reincarnated es además un documental basado en su despertar como Snoop Lion tras un viaje a Jamaica. Según The Huffington Post, el documental ha sido descrito como:
